Exhaust suddenly got really loud, is this a quick fix or a big job

Started my car this morning and it sounded completely different, way louder than normal, almost like a truck. Drove it a bit and the noise is definitely coming from underneath, gets worse when I accelerate. I'm guessing something has come loose or rusted through, but I have no idea if this is a cheap weld job or a full replacement situation. I'm looking for reliable exhaust and muffler repair in Musaffah since I'm in that area regularly, but I'd like to know what I'm walking into before I get quoted. Has anyone had their exhaust suddenly get loud like this? What did it turn out to be and roughly what did it cost to sort? Hoping it's not the whole system because that sounds expensive.
