Is a coolant flush really needed on an Infiniti, or just an upsell?

At my last service in MBZ City, the advisor told me my Infiniti QX60 needs a radiator flush, and I honestly could not tell if it was a real need or just a way to add to the bill. The car has about eighty five thousand kilometres, and as far as I know the coolant has never been changed. It runs fine, the temperature needle sits in the middle, and there are no leaks I can see. But the summer heat here is harsh, so I did some reading, and I found a page about Infiniti radiator repair and flush in MBZ City that explained old coolant can lose its protection and cause rust and scale inside the system. That made sense, but I still want to hear from real owners. How often do you flush yours, by kilometres or by years? Is a flush different from just draining and topping up, and does it cost much more? Does the shop pressure test the radiator and check the hoses and the cap at the same time, or is that extra? Which coolant type should an Infiniti use, and does it matter if they use a cheaper universal one? I also wonder how long the job takes and if I can wait at the shop. And if my car shows no symptoms at all, is it better to wait until something looks wrong, or do it now to avoid a bigger repair? If you did a flush lately, please tell me what you paid, what was included, and if you noticed any difference after. Easy answers help me most.
