We have a hair salon in Mirdif and honestly the waste situation is out of control. Between foil, colour tubes, plastic wrapping, hair clippings and general rubbish, we fill up so fast that the small bin we have is overflowing by mid afternoon. Clients see it and I hate that. I am trying to figure out what size bin for garbage makes sense for a place like ours, but I do not want something so big it dominates the corner of the salon. Also there is the smell issue with hair and leftover product mixing together by evening, so a lid feels essential but then people stop using it because they cannot be bothered to open it. Has anyone found a setup that actually works, like two separate bins for different waste streams, or is one bigger unit with a decent liner just simpler. Would love to hear from other salon owners because I cannot be the only one fighting this battle every day.
